CERAMICS COLLECTION

All of my ceramic work is functional and made for everyday use. I focus on how a cup feels in your hand, how a bowl can be passed around a table and how well a flower stands up in a vase. Each piece is hand thrown, hand painted and glazed.

​

My inspirations begin in nature. I choose butterflies, leaves and bugs to embellish my work. Bugs, annoying  common bugs like lice and mosquitoes, create a juxtaposition between a beautiful functional piece and a common pesky bug. My palette is muted contemporary tones with black underglaze.
